Christmas time is fast approaching. O! Where did the time go?

And what better way to usher in the holiday season than with a list of incredible jazz songs. Jazz and Christmas have had a long, symbiotic relationship together. Ever since stars like Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, and Etta James (to name a few) began releasing their Christmas classic hits back in the 50s, Jazz and Christmas have always gone hand in hand.

Below is a list of some popular and lesser known jazz songs that will (hopefully) brighten your day and help get you in the good, ol Holiday spirit.

1. "Christmas Song" - Dexter Gordon (1970)        (Instrumental)

2. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" -Mary J. Blige (2010) (Now with words!)

3. "Snowfall" - Ahmad Jamal (1961)

4. "It's Not Christmas Till You Come Home" -  Nora Jones (2017)

5. My Little Drum - Vince Guaraldi (1965)

6. Christmas Time Is Here - Brad Mehldau (1997)
